Hidden Areas

A map view can have something called “Hidden Areas”. These are areas where you want to make sure no information gets published. For example, if you want to make sure that the room labelled “Top Secret Room” is not searchable or visible in any maps. Rooms and information underneath a “hidden area” is simply removed completely during publishing.

Click on a room for hiding a room. By default the functionality “Add hidden area” is selected. Please remember to push the “Publish Map”-button to make the changes appear on the live map. If you want to remove the hidden areas you just need to click on “Remove hidden areas” and on the area which should not be hidden any longer. After clicking on “Publish Map” those areas should be appearing on the map again.
