Can I add my own icons in MazeMap?

Question:

  • Can I add my own/customized icons in MazeMap?
  • How do I add an icon in MazeMap?


Answer: Yes!


All MazeMap customers can now upload up to 20 custom icons for free. If you wish to upload more custom icons, please contact support@mazemap.com  


Icons must be in SVG format and will automatically be re-sized to fit a 30X30 size. For guidelines on making your own custom icons, see here: https://mazemap.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MCSH/pages/61640190/Custom+Icons+Guidelines



1. When you login to the Map Editor, you should now see this option for Icons.


2. You will go to a screen showing your existing icons. Click the green circle with the plus sign to upload new icons. If are unable to select your files, it is because they are not in SVG format.


3. Edit/delete icons

a) You can edit the name of your icon file here.

b) You can delete icons easily by clicking “delete icon” or re-upload a replacement.
