The minimum screen resolution for the kiosk is 1000px x 1000px.

Below are examples of what resolutions function, and what does not.

Screen Resolution

Supported?

1024px x 768px

Not supported

Between 1200px x 2000px in each direction

Supported (recommended)

1920x1080 / 1080x1920

Optimal (recommended)

3000px x 3000px

Not recommended - text will be too small

The kiosk supports a range of screen resolutions, but they should preferably be between 1200px - 2000px in each direction. Below or above that, elements will be sized too big or too small. We now allow for a choice of layout options (vertical or horizontal), thus the kiosk elements are a lot more responsive, and we are more flexible with resolution than we have been.

The kiosks need to support touch and be able to run ‘'Web GL’' and a ‘'modern browser’', such as the latest Chrome and Firefox. Running modern web applications require decent hardware, such as a graphics card and processor to be responsive.
