CSM should receive an Excel file listing all the assets and data filled out in every column. CSM will share the files and create internal tasks for engineers to upload the assets to the Asset Visualization tool. If the assets after deployment are not visible/ searchable in the tool we will conduct internal QA to search for the issue. If needed we will reach out to the customer for any additional information.
Requirements for the asset file.
Uploaded assets can be placed only on existing buildings and floors that were mapped during the delivery of the map.
Asset Name / Device ID / Name Group
MAC addresses are case-sensitive, so we must ensure they’re correct.
Assets can have 1 group assigned to them.
We can search by the information from all the columns. What if any other data would be there?
