It is very important to use coordinates obtained using MazeMap for the GPS markers. Do not use coordinates obtained from other sources such as Google Maps, as these may have different building placements which will cause a loss of accuracy in the positioning service.

To obtain coordinates for the GPS markers:

  1. Use the following web page: https://debug.mazemap.com/poi-inspector/

  2. Select the floor you want to create GPS markers for and zoom in if necessary

  3. Click in the map to find lonlat coordinates for a point. Use easily recognisable points such as corners.

Step 2: Export maps from Cisco Prime, Import in CMX & Restart CMX

This has to be repeated every time you make changes to the maps (including GPS markers) in Cisco Prime.

  1. SSH into LIPI server

  2. Run the following command
