You do this by following the step-by-step instructions below.

  • Enter the POI Tool in Map Editor by clicking the “ Paths” button.
  • In the top left corner you can choose which building you would want to create a path in (outdoors is also defined as a building). Click the building where you want to create a path.

  • In the menubox in the top left it is possible to choose between different modes; “Select/Move”, “Draw Path” and “Eraser”. Choose “Draw Path”.

  • Click on the map where you want the path to start. The round dot that you get is called a node. You should have one node in each room. To get more then one node - “right click” and “Enter” and then continue drawing until you reach the end point of you path. To end the path, click “Enter” again. If there is another path you want to connect with, the last node should be put directly on the other path. When the path is completed it should be green, like this:

  • If you make a mistake and want to erase a path, choose “Eraser” in the menu box and click the path you want to delete.

  • Remember to save changes once you are finished. After the changes are saved, send paths to production.

  • You know the paths have been saved when they turn blue (the end nodes will be purple)

  • No labels
