Answer: Upload the template provided in the Map Editor by following the steps below. You must have the longitude and latitude of each POI in order to do this.
To find out the longitude and latitude of a specific POI, you can also use our debug tool: Debug View in MazeMap App
In the Map Editor, click on your campus building on the map followed by POI Import.
2. Select the green button shown below to add a new list.
3. A dialogue box will appear. Download the template, and fill it in. Save the said list in your drive. Follow the instructions shown below to upload your list.
4. Click the “Upload File button and you’ll be directed to your drive, click the file and then the “Open” button on the lower right portion of the screen.
5. Then this screen showing the spreadsheet will appear. Start placing the feature (blue) tiles to each column header (i.e., External ID, Longitude, Catitude, Sype of room, Searchable name, Description, URL)
6. Don’t forget to click “Save changes as new version”. Then go back to the Point of Interest sub-menu, “ Run Update”
7. You will be directed to the screen below. Click “Import POI data” and the changes will be visible in the Map Editor tool. When you are satisfied with the changes, click “Start publish process”.
8. Your POIs should now appear on your Map.
