The POI Inspector tool

The POI Inspector tool can be used for collecting lat/longs of GPS markers to be imported into Prime, or when confirming the coordinates of your outdoor POIs that you would like to mark on your External POI List.

 

  1. Navigate to debug.mazemap.com and select the POI Inspector tool:

     

  2. In order to find your campus on the map, you will need to type in its ID in the "Campus Id" field. Please note that you will also need to provide the Access Token in the "View Access Token" field if the map to your campus is private, otherwise no buildings will tile (only the outline is going to be visible).


    Once all the details have been entered, click on the "Set campus and view access token" button - the map will then show the area of your campus.

     

  3. The lat/longs can be collected by clicking on the building (for GPS markers) and the surrounding area (for the Outdoor POIs). The data will be displayed on the left side of the screen:

     

If you cannot view your campus after entering the Campus ID (and the Access Token, if necessary), or experience any other issues with the tool, please contact your Customer Success Manager via email and remember to copy support@mazemap.com in the message as well.
