Is there a way to prevent public people from using a path without deleting it?

• Is there a way to keep patients from going through corridor C without deleting the path?

Answer:

To avoid that you can use the discourage feature. When using this feature you will decrease the value of the chosen path and the algorithm will choose another path with a higher value (that means a regular path).

• To do that you start by entering the Path tool in the Map Editor.
  
  
  

• Choose the right building in the drop down menu on the top left. Or click on the preferred building.
  
  
  
  
• Click on the path you would like to edit. When you click it turns from blue to dotted yellow. Check all the four boxes that describes discourage or slightly discourage.
  
  
  
  
  
• Remember to save changes by clicking the blue “Save Changes” button. When the changes are saved, press “Send paths to Production!”
