Base Map Updates: AUTO vs MANUAL

The base map is connected with a map view. Therefore changes on the base map “can” be (but don't have to) propagated to a map view. There are two options of how to propagate changes to a map view:
Base Map Updates: AUTO
By using this setting, every change on a base map will automatically be propagated to a map view. In other words, changing the colour on a POI of the base map will automatically change the colour of the exact same POI on the map view after publishing the base map.
Note: You will have less control over changes since everything is happening automatically!
Base Map Updates: MANUAL
By using this setting, every change on a base map will “not” automatically update the base map. Every change needs to be reviewed and either accepted or rejected first. “Accepting” the changes will mean that the map view will be updated with the changes on the base map, while “Rejecting” means the changes will “not” be adapted to the map view.
Note: You will have more control over what should be updated and what not. Everything needs your improvement before it will update a map view!
